If you could take a classic sports car and improve it in every single way possible, with more power, better handling, superior braking and reliability, whilst retaining all the charm and character of the original....

Why wouldn’t you?
— KEVIN O'ROURKE - Moto Technique Limited

Some of the most beautiful and original sports cars ever produced from the 1950’ 60’s and 70’s are now getting on a bit. Their beauty and originality can never be questioned, but technology has moved on over the past few decades since they were first designed and built.

Things like engine management and power output along with modern handling and braking capabilities can now be applied to these iconic cars, bringing them up to modern day standards of safety and reliability…. and while you’re at it, why not add some creature comforts, like air conditioning, power steering, iPhone and Bluetooth connectivity etc.

Over the years Moto Technique have built up quite a reputation for producing some of the very best resomods ever made.

These restomods are produced to the highest standards possible, where quality and engineering excellence are paramount. The aim is to always respect the original car and to upgrade it in a manner that would have you believe that it is a factory original.

For example, the black Dino 246GTS V8 restomod which was produced for California based Ferrari collector David Lee, has some subtle exterior styling features such as 17inch Campagnola alloy wheels, a perspex engine cover to show of the magnificent upgraded 3.6 litre V8 engine and the perspex headlight covers with invisible fixings as well as a Snap four way exhaust system. These minor modifications just compliment the original design perfectly, whilst being modern upgrades that totally justify the word “Restomod”.

Using the latest technology to laser scan an original Campagnola 15 inch wheel and then resize it to 17 inches, but use the traditional methods and technique of casting in sand moulds to keep a totally authentic look to these iconic wheels.
